Elementary Children’s Ministry

Faith Family children’s ministry exists to equip children, engage families and edify the church. Our elementary department includes children in first through fifth grades. We seek to provide age appropriate, Biblical teaching for this age group as well as an engaging atmosphere that children will enjoy. All volunteers working with children at Faith Family have gone through a background check process to ensure the safety of all.

Sunday School

Our elementary children are learning from the Gospel Project curriculum that is a chronological study through God’s Words so that they can understand the grand narrative of the Bible and how it all connects to Christ. We have classes for each grade level so that children can get to know their peers and learn at their grade level as well.

Sunday Evening

Our elementary children are currently doing an inductive study through the book of James. This is an exciting time for our children as they are studying through James while their parents are studying through James in our adult Bible studies as well. This gives our families an opportunity to learn and grow together. This time for our children includes focused time in the Word, activities that reinforce the Truths they are learning as well as fun time for them to fellowship with games and crafts.

Wednesday Evening

During this time, we are using a curriculum from Truth 78 called “Faithful to All His Promises”. We truly desire to teach our children about the faithfulness of God, and this curriculum helps to reinforce that by teaching through God’s promises in the Bible to illustrate His trustworthiness. Children have large group teaching, small group teaching by age group as well as a rec time in our gymnasium.

Our children’s ministry will be doing a special summer week on campus for our children along with holiday events and other times to learn and grow as a family. Visit our events page to see what is coming up!
