Why Join a Church?

EVERY CHRISTIAN NEEDS TO A JOIN A CHURCH.

We believe that one of God’s primary means for growing up healthy Christians is through engagement with a local body of believers. We call this covenant membership. Covenant church membership is a wonderful privilege and a weighty responsibility.

To communicate fully the privilege and responsibility of membership at Faith Family Fellowship we ask prospective new members to go through a four step membership process called BodyLife.

We're so excited you're interested in learning more about who we are and joining the family!

Membership Process

Click on the following topics to learn about the membership process.

  • Membership at Faith Family requires you to attend our 4 week BodyLife class. These meet at 9:15 on Sunday mornings and are offered quarterly. Our next BodyLife class will run from April 5 to April 26. Here’s a brief overview:

    • The first class covers “What is the Gospel?”.

    • The second goes over “What do we believe?”.

    • The third answers “What is the Church/local church?”.

    • The fourth one covers any final questions.

  • During body life, we’ll ask you to write our tour testimony, your spiritual background. Once completed, you’ll turn this in to the elders. This is an opportunity for one of the elders to get to know you better, hear about your conversion, baptism, and current walk with Christ. Here’s a sneak peek at the questions we’ll ask you to answer:

    1. In just a few sentences, tell us how you came to Faith Family Fellowship. What are the reasons you feel as though the Lord is directing you to be a member here?

    2. In just a few sentences, please explain your understanding of the Gospel. What does it take for a person to be in a right relationship with God?

    3. In just a few sentences, please explain your testimony of how you came to know the Lord Jesus as Savior.

  • All new member candidates are asked to fill out a membership form.

  • New Member candidates will be presented to the congregation after a Sunday morning service. At this time the congregation will be asked to officially vote to approve the candidates as members of Faith Family Fellowship.
