Hope For Tomorrow’s Children’s Home

Hope for Tomorrow Children's Home, located in Guatemala City, Guatemala, is dedicated to providing orphaned, abandoned, and at-risk children with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment. Since 2007 they have served more than 80 children. Currently, 10 beautiful children call Hope for Tomorrow their home.

How Hope For Tomorrow is Different

Hope for Tomorrow Children's Home isn't an orphanage, it's a HOME created intentionally to provide the best possible environment for children. In this HOME, the children are instructed in the Christian faith. As a Christ-centered ministry, Hope for Tomorrow strives to point each child towards the plans of hope and life in abundance that only a relationship with Him can bring. Whether a child goes to them from abuse, neglect, or abandonment they know that Christ can bring healing to their hearts.

The Current Need // The Reason for the Golf Tournament

Our pastor, David Sullivan, serves on the Board of Hope for Tomorrow. In a recent meeting, he learned that the Guatemalan government is requiring Hope for Tomorrow to provide three additional mothers for the Children’s Home. In other words, if Hope for Tomorrow does not secure the financial means to support three more mothers who will care for the children, the government will shut the ministry down. This is a tremendous burden—borderline impossible—for a nonprofit serving in Guatemala.

Because David and the saints who make up Faith Family Fellowship believe so strongly in the mission and purpose of Hope for Tomorrow, we wanted to help. The Lord has richly blessed us with financial resources. The Lord has also richly blessed many on the Eastern Shore. So, we asked ourselves: What if we hosted a golf tournament that allows people to enjoy an afternoon of recreation while leveraging some of these financial resources to meet the needs of Hope for Tomorrow? Now, after careful thought and deliberation, this golf tournament is happening!
