Breakout Sessions
Over the course of the weekend, you will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions! Sessions include:
Fathers: Biblical Leadership in the Home
God’s Word calls fathers to be the heads of their households—but what does that truly look like? Are those under your care flourishing because of your leadership? While Scripture calls fathers to provide, the ultimate calling is to teach and guide their families both spiritually and practically, eternally and in everyday life. This small group will give men the opportunity to spend focused time exploring this vital topic together.
Mothers: Glorifying God Through His Good Design
Motherhood carries a weight that words can hardly prepare us for. Yet in Christ, every mother can be fully equipped for this wonderful calling. As we look at the commitment mothers make to their children—and ultimately to Christ—women will be encouraged in the good and beautiful design God has given them.
Marriage and Parenting: Keeping Marriage in Its Proper Place
Marriage can easily slip into the background during the busy years of raising children. But, if you look at the Bible, God’s design gives marriage a rightful and essential place within the family. In this small group, couples will revisit God’s purpose for marriage and learn practical ways to strengthen their relationship even in the midst of parenting.
Single Parenting: Take Heart—You Are Not Alone!
Single parenting brings unique challenges to an already demanding calling. Regardless of your circumstances, Scripture provides the sturdy truths needed to guide and steady you. Your marital status describes your situation, but it does not define your identity. Together, we will look to God’s Word as our guide so that you leave encouraged, supported, and better equipped for the assignment God has given you.
The High‑Tech Family: Parenting in a Hyper‑Distracted World
Cell phones and digital devices shape our lives—often more than we realize. As parents, we naturally focus on managing our children’s technology use, but we must first examine our own habits and hearts. This small group will help parents reflect on their own digital patterns while offering practical, biblical wisdom for guiding children in today’s technology‑driven world.
“Parenting brings incredible, indescribable joys. But because our children matter so much to us, parenting can also bring incredible challenges and devastating heartbreak. For such an important task, we need to have our thoughts and attitudes and dreams and desires shaped by Scripture.”
